Johannesburg - Mining company Gold One has fired more than 1400 workers after a week-long illegal strike at its Ezulwini mine.
“The company dismissed approximately 1435 of the total 1900 employees at its Ezulwini Operation,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
It confirmed that the workers were the same 1435 who were notified of their suspension from the mine last Wednesday. - Sapa
