Love is in the air, people are excited, red and white is everywhere you look.

Significant others are either planning some sort of a surprise, or waiting to be spoiled and swept off their feet.

Some are planning on going out, which is not a bad thing considering that it will leave you with more time to spend with each other. In addition to that, restaurants often have great specials at this time of the year.

This week I planned a load-shedding-friendly meal for those who decide to have an intimately cozy set up at home instead of going out.

Come to think of it, it would be a good idea at the moment load-shedding or not – think candles, ice, wine and other ingredients needed for a romantic evening.

This recipe requires grilling just one part of the meal and the rest is just mixed up and voila, there you go!

If you are not romantically involved, don’t let it get you down, there’s nothing better than going out with your best pal on Valentine’s Day.

Better yet, invite your friends over, double up the recipe, open up a good bottle of wine and have fun! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
