Durban — A pupil suffered injuries to his lower limbs when a truck collided with him outside of his school in KwaDukuza, on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal.
IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Dylan Meyrick said that on Friday afternoon, IPSS received calls that a truck had collided with a child outside of his school.
“On arrival, IPSS Medical found that a child had sustained traumatic injuries to his lower limbs. The child was stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical Advanced Life Support before being transported to a private facility in Durban for further care,” Meyrick said.
Police said a case had not been opened at KwaDukuza SAPS.
