American rapper Sexyy Red has sparked controversy online after she recently posted a video of her twerking and cosplaying sexual moves on rapper, Kodak Black.

This has sparked controversy online as X users shared that Tyla was expected to act in the same manner since those moves are deemed as the “American Culture”.

A video emerged online as Tyla was seen dancing with Usher Raymond at his concert, however, Tyla moved away from the R&B artist which sparked a controversy online and rapper, Joe Budden weighed in on the conversation saying that Tyla is an “Uppity African”.

Many South African netizens have defended Tyla, saying that she has the right to reject dancing with Usher.

Sexyy Red’s recent video also sparked another debate with people referencing Tyla and Usher’s exchange and saying that Americans expected Tyla to dance just like Sexyy Red to prove that she is not an “Uppity African”.

X user @YanaaX6 commented, “This is what they wanted Tyla to do to prove she’s not uppity”

Another X user @Kim_Khandashisa commented, “They wanted Tyla to cosplay ghetto ratchet like Sexxy Redd on a man twice her age. That’s how I know Americans are falling off the bone cooked”

X user @Dustin_LF07 commented, “Joe Budden and his creepy ass would rather see Tyla doing this to Usher instead of having her respect her own boundaries. Creepy old b*** Joe Budden”
