In 2009, then 18-year-old Sasha-Lee Davids from Atlantis, Cape Town, shared the season 5 "Idols SA" crown.

Nearly a decade later, Davids is still on the music scene, and will be will be embarking on a new journey.

The "True Believer" singer has been invited to collaborate with a few American artists on a special project as well, as to complete a range of new songs for her new album.

The singer has started a crowdfund to help make this dream come true.

In return for your support, Davids will be sending her new song to you exclusively and, anyone donating more than R300 will also get the benefit of a half-price ticket for her show November/December this year.

Davids will be recording her brand new song "Forever Yours" that was well received at the Divas 2018 tour with an American artist.

What can be revealed right now is that the new song "Africa Arise" will be recorded with her longtime friends, All 4 One, in September 2018.

All the efforts will be spent on flights and accommodation but mainly on producing the songs.

Support Davids' American dream here.
