Kelvin Momo’s fans are never left wanting because he’s always in the studio making new music.
The Amapiano sensation dropped his sixth studio album on Friday, December 13.
Titled “Ntsako”, this 24-track album features industry heavyweights including Kabza De Small, Yahoo and Babalwa M, to name a few.
“’Ntsako’ out at midnight! This journey wouldn’t be possible without all of you, thank you to everyone who contributed and made this possible,” he said on Thursday evening.
As expected, fans were over the moon, especially because the album has come at a time when everyone is in a festive mood.
“It still breaks my heart that Nelson Mandela died without listening to Kelvin Momo's music,” said @Erickmabunda.
Another fan, @Givarr_, said: “I think we all have to accept now that Kelvin Momo is Messi of Piano man, no drama just pure music. One hour in it already and ‘Constant Feeling’ and ‘Suit&Tie’ are making the pots to be done.”
However, some people were not impressed with how he prioritises releasing music over his performances.
“I’ma keep my thing brief… Kelvin Momo needs to hit pause on the music drops and focus on mastering his gig guide discipline. The music may be fire, but let’s prioritise punctuality and professionalism too,” said @ThulitotheTop.
Some said he needed to work on mastering his songs before releasing them.
“I hear Kelvin Momo is releasing another album. Man is about to give us another 30 unmastered songs sounding like a 1990s Mzwakhe Mbuli cassette,” said @Zweli_Thixo.
“Ntsako” follows his fifth studio album, “Sewe”, which dropped four months ago.
