Do you find dessert hard to resist? Do you often end up ordering more than one dessert at the end of your meal? Are you quite particular about where you get your sweet fix from?

If yes, you will be interested to know about Anne Hathaway's dessert rules.

The American actress speaks her heart and often shares her love and passion for food in interviews. Recently, she talked about ordering and relishing desserts at a restaurant and foodies can agree with all her statements.

The star recently appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and provided fascinating insight into her love for sweet treats. In a now-viral clip from the show, Hathaway is heard saying she was really good at ordering dessert.

She is not someone who orders only one dessert while eating out. Instead, she prefers to place an order for both sweet delights at the same time.

Sharing her rules for ordering at restaurants, Hathaway added: “Dessert is not the time to say no. And I believe in combining. Don't be greedy, but you have to have a plan. Here's the thing, everybody really does want to have a bite of most of it."

The “The Princess Diaries” actress also shared a tried-and-tested “mantra” for recognising which places are likely to have bad desserts.

"I love dessert! One of the things I've noticed is that if a restaurant does not have good bread, don't bother with the cake. Life truth”, Hathaway explained. The audience burst into applause at these words.

Seeing the actress speaking her heart and saying so many relatable things about ordering desserts, her fans and followers are obsessed.

A comment under the Instagram reel read: “Dessert is not the time to say no. Getting a sign made up with those words.”

Another user wrote: “Clearly no longer a princess in training. That is some queen-level advice.”

A third Instagrammer commented: “I’ve never felt more seen” and we completely agree.”

A fourth wrote: “Exactly. Bad bread. Bad pastry period. Get all the desserts if the bread service is bomb.”
