The first (allegedly) official pictures of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class have hit the worldwide web ahead of the car's official unveiling, which is likely to happen soon.
Given that Mercedes-Benz has not made any announcements yet, we're not sure if any major mechanical changes have taken place but the photos do tell us that something of a comprehensive facelift has taken place.
The most notable change is the brand new front end, with single-unit headlights replacing the 'four-eyed' layout that's been a signature E-Class feature since 1995.
The new E's face also gets a bolder grille and redesigned front bumper and while the rest of the car is less radically altered, customers can still look forward to new alloy wheel designs, tweaked taillights and a new rear bumper.
Numerous changes have also taken place to the cabin styling and, knowing Mercedes, a raft of new technologies should be on the cards.
