It seems the tuning companies are getting excited about the new Mercedes-Benz CLA .
Last week Brabus announced a package that increased the output but went very subtle on the little Merc's styling.
Now Piecha Design is doing it the other way round, with a bolder approach to visual pimping but nothing on the power front.
Not that the CLA 250 it's based on is too short in the voomah department, with its 2-litre turbopetrol pushing 155kW and 349Nm - enough to get it to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds and onto a top speed of 240km/h.
The Piecha CLA 250 gets a full body kit that includes a more aggressively styled front bumper, complete with silver air splitters and a chin spoiler.
The rear end takes an even bolder approach with its large diffuser that houses a quad-pipe exhaust system, and there are two spoilers - one on the bootlid and another on the rear windscreen.
The car also sits on a set of bespoke 10-spoke alloy wheels that snugly fill the wheel arches.
