You love the smooth lines of Volkswagen's CC or the spacious comfort of the Passat - but you're too young-at-heart for either model's understated styling, right? Well, somebody at Wolfsburg must have got the memo, because now you can order either of these models with an R-Line 'bling package'.

On the CC, VW's flagship sedan, that means a redesigned front bumper complete with vertical chromed bars painted in gloss black and bottom radiator grille, custom side skirts, 'Mallory' 18" alloys with five double spokes, and an additional chrome trim on the cover above the fog lights.

There's an R-Line logo on the grille, sill plates with R-Line lettering and a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel with multifunction controls and R-Line logo on the middle spoke.

The whole goodie bag adds R12 250 to the price of a two-litre TDI model and R10 200 to either a two-litre TSI or 3.6-litre FSI V6 version.

PASSAT

On this body shape, the R-Line package starts with a sporty new front bumper framing a larger cooling-air inlet, integrated foglights, and an R-Line badge on the grille.

Body-colour skirts emphasise the 17" Mallory' alloy rims, underlined by an R-Line rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, below a neatly faired in rear spoiler.

All of which will make the Passat derivative of your choice R10 200 more expensive.
