Do you have what it takes to compete in and win the 2025 Fortuner Challenge powered by Quartz Engine Oil - and drive away with a new soon-to-be-released Toyota Fortuner GR-Sport to the value of R900 000?

The Fortuner GR-Sport will be released in 2025 and has been inspired by the Gazoo Racing motorsports team to be more aggressive and more powerful.

If you’re good at offroad driving, running, cycling, navigational challenges, watersports and can keep a cool head under pressure while solving problems and building puzzles, then this is for you.

In short you need to be extremely fit, good at speed, endurance, mental and physical problem solving.

Following the same recipe as previous years, four heroes will be teamed up with four contestants from different media houses including Independent Media.

Over two days, each team competes in a variety of tough challenges. At the end, points are tallied to see who gets the key to the Fortuner GR-Sport and a host of other fantastic prizes.

Your Fortuner GR-Sport will be fitted with a Thule Force XT Roof Box and Thule luggage including a Thule Chasm set 26-litre Backpack, 40-litre Duffel and 110-litre Roller to the value of R47 195.

In addition there’s a Total Energies fuel card worth R10 000, a specialised mountain bike worth R39 000, a Garmin watch worth R24 999 and Salomon clothing worth R9 650.

Go to https://staging.fortunerchallenge.co.za/independent-media to fill in the application and you’ll go into a draw to be named one of Independent Media’s three semi-finalists.

The semi-finalists will then progress to the final selection process. One will be chosen as the Independent Media challenger and go on to compete as a finalist in the 2025 Fortuner Challenge.

Bear in mind, though, you need to provide a valid driver’s licence and evidence of a good level of fitness.

So, what are you waiting for? Sign up and South Africa’s favourite SUV could be yours.
