A Congress of SA Trade Unions rally in Rustenburg on Saturday to demand the reinstatement of dismissed mining workers is set to draw a trio of alliance leaders.
Cosatu general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi, SA Communist Party general secretary Blade Nzimande and ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe are scheduled to address the rally, the trade union federation said.
The SA National Civic Organisation will also be represented.
The rally is scheduled to begin with a march at 8.30am from the Rustenburg taxi rank to the Olympia stadium. - Sapa
