The farm is on the block at 11am and the loose assets at 11.30am. The sequestrated Westland farm of 889.7ha is in the Op-die-Berg area, renowned for its prolific production of apples, pears, peaches and vegetables. The farm has apple, pear and pomegranate trees, as well as potato and onion crops.
About 309ha are arable land. Among the loose assets to be sold will be 4x4 and other tractors; pivots; forklifts; potato farming equipment; irrigation and spraying equipment; balers; fertilisers; ploughs; trailers and scrapers.
