Kaizer Chiefs forward Pule Mmodi has admitted that their upcoming match against Lamontville Golden Arrows will be a tough challenge, but he is confident that the team can secure a vital victory to make up for lost ground in the Betway Premiership.
The game will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 and both teams will be desperate for a win to improve their positions in the league.
For Amakhosi, securing three points will be vital in their bid to finish in the top four, and they must deliver a complete performance to ensure a positive result.
"Golden Arrows is a strong team, and with their new coach, they are likely to adopt a different tactical approach. However, our focus is on our own game plan, and we are confident we can get a positive result," Mmodi said in an interview with the club's official website.

Chiefs have struggled for consistency this season and failed to pick up maximum points from their last two matches before the international break.
A 1-1 draw against Cape Town City was followed by a 1-0 loss to Richards Bay, leaving Amakhosi in mid-table with 29 points from 22 games.
Despite these setbacks, Mmodi remains optimistic about their chances to move up the standings.
"We’re in eighth place right now, but there is still a chance for us to finish in the top four. We’ll be playing against teams above us, which gives us a great opportunity to close the gap," he explained.
The team’s form has been inconsistent this season, and Mmodi emphasized that while they have played well at times, they must improve in key areas.
"We’ve been playing good football, but we need to work on winning games and converting our chances. As a forward, I know I need to contribute more in terms of goals. Our goal is to win all the remaining games and give our best in every match."

Both Chiefs and Arrows will be looking to bounce back after recent defeats. Arrows, currently 10th on the table, are coming off a 1-0 loss to Magesi, marking coach Manqoba Mngqithi’s first defeat in charge.
Before that, they had only one win in their last five league matches, with their last victory coming on March 12 against Polokwane City.
Chiefs, on the other hand, are also eager to turn their form around. They have had one win, three losses, and one draw in their last five outings, sitting in eighth place.
Despite their struggles, Mmodi has been one of the better performers for the club this season and will be key in their attack as they look to regain their rhythm.
Knox Mutizwa will be the key player for Abafana Besthende, as the experienced striker continues to be a threat in attack. Although Arrows have struggled to score recently, Mutizwa’s ability to produce moments of brilliance could be the difference in a tight encounter.
