Defending champions Wits and Free State Stars will get the 2018 Telkom Knockout under way on Saturday, October 20 at Goble Park in Bethlehem.

The Premier Soccer League confirmed the dates and venues for the eight fixtures in the last-16 on Thursday, following Monday night’s draw at the SuperSport studios in Randburg.

Wits coach Gavin Hunt and Stars boss Luc Eymael will square off at 3.30pm, with Baroka FC and Golden Arrows playing at the same time at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

That match will be followed by the clash between two good friends, Pitso Mosimane and Steve Komphela, when Mamelodi Sundowns host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Lucas Moripe Stadium (6pm).

Orlando Pirates will face Chippa United at 8.15pm that same evening, while Kaizer Chiefs fans have to wait until Sunday, October 21 to see Amakhosi take on Black Leopards at the FNB Stadium (3.30pm).

The last game in the last-16 has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, when AmaZulu host MTN8 champions Cape Town City at King Zwelithini Stadium (7.30pm).
