Dolphins: 228/8 (Hanu Viljoen 57; Andile Phehulkwayo 4/28)
Titans: 163 all out (Dewald Brevis 36; Keshav Maharaj 3/37)

Dolphins won by 65 runs.

Keshav Maharaj, upon his return from the Proteas Champions Trophy semi-final exit last week, led the Dolphins to the final of the Cricket South Africa One Day Cup.

Having returned figures of 3/37, the slow left-arm orthodox helped the Dolphins defend 228 runs at Kingsmead on Wednesday, beating a strong Titans side by 65 runs to book a spot in Sunday's final against Boland Park in Paarl.

Having had a quiet Champions Trophy in Pakistan, the 35-year-old dusted off his boots and went straight to battle for the Dolphins and catered for the in-form Dewald Brevis (36; 1x4; 4x6), Andile Phehlukwayo (11; 2x4) and Jhedli van Briesies (14; 1x4).

Maharaj closed the victory with the run-out of Schalk Engelbrecht (6).

Tristan Luus, the promising 19-year-old fast bowler continued his good form as he returned sparkling figures of 3/48, playing an important hand in the victory.

Earlier, the 23-year-old Hanu Viljoen (57; 4x4; 1x6) and Eathan Bosch combined for an 85-run sixth-wicket stand and guided the Dolphins to a competitive 228

.Maharaj's unbeaten 25 off 16 played an important hand in the Dolphins' recovery after Phehlukwayo's 4/29 in 10 overs took the top order apart.

Returning to where his professional career started, Phehlukwayo took the big wickets of Bryce Parsons (15), Jason Smith (14), Bosch (40) and Andile Simelane (3).

Having secured the victory, the Dolphins will travel to Boland Park in Paarl to take on Justin Ontong's Boland team.
