The Pogues’ treasure hunt is set to continue in season four of “Outer Banks” which will see the original cast returning.

Netflix announced that the first part of the show will drop on October 10 with the next five episodes releasing on November 7.

John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) will reprise their roles in what is promised to be the biggest season yet.

Meanwhile, there are several new talents joining the cast. They include “Billions” star J. Anthony Crane as Chandler Groff, who is grief-stricken over the loss of his wife.

Pollyanna McIntosh, Brianna Brown, Rigo Sanchez and Mia Challis are also joining “Outer Banks” season four.

The last time streamers saw the Pogues, a title that the group adopted which refers to someone who lives in the Cut, 18 months had passed since they found the gold in El Dorado.

During the season three finale, they were also still grappling with the deaths of both Ward (Charles Esten) and Big John (Charles Halford), but still commemorated their hard-won victory.

The show’s co-creator Josh Pate told “Tudum”, the streaming service’s official companion website: “We knew we needed to give them a win, but it ended up being a complicated one. We wanted the audience to feel that they had accomplished something and that it wasn’t all for nothing.”

With the stakes higher than ever in season 3, the show’s other creator, Shannon Burke added to “Tudum” that she hoped that fans would really feel the strength of the Pogues’ friendship.

“There’s all this action and adventure, but it’s really about the bond between the friends,” she said.

Josh Pate, one of the executive producers, said that he wanted all the wannabe Pogues watching at home to feel “the sense that there’s more coming.”

Meanwhile, following last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s (David Jensen) proposal for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, the new installment will take viewers back in time to the lead-up to that moment.

This is as after the Pogues find the gold at El Dorado, they return to the OBX and commit to having a “normal” life.

They’ve built themselves a new safe haven, officially dubbed Poguelandia 2.0, where they live together and run a fairly successful bait, tackle and charter tour shop.

But after some financial setbacks, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope and Cleo take Wes up on his offer and are drawn back into the “G” game for a whole new adventure.

∎ The first part of “Outer Banks” season four will premiere on October 10.
