His near-death experience saw him commit his life to God.

He joined the likes of fellow musicians Cassper Nyovest and Puerto Rican star, Daddy Yankee, who have recently turned to their Christian faiths.

In an interview with Kaya FM’s Thabo ‘Tbose’ Mokwele in March, the DJ said he saw his life flash before his eyes during the plane crash.

“It was not quick. That was the most painful thing about this incident... And then I woke up in the hospital. It happened for maybe a minute, it gave me time to think while it was happening. I had time to pray while it was happening. I had time to hope that it was not going to be over,” he said at the time.
