In this movie, Maleka plays the vibrant role of Ace, a hustler-like character hired by a bashful client to haggle with his wealthy fiancée. Unfortunately for his customer, despite his charm and cunning, all he has on his mind is the money.
Maleka, Kwanele Mthethwa, Sandile Mahlangu, Nimrod Nkosi, Thembsie Matu, Obed Baloyi, Sello Ramolahloane and Primo Baloyi lead this captivating movie showcasing South African artistry.
“Lobola Man”, a South African film, is a funny voyage through romance, uncertainty, hustles, and gorgeous ladies.
The central idea of the film revolves around the lobola tradition, which is widely practised in South Africa when the bride’s family receives payment from the groom’s family, where such discussions typically include a middleman or broker.

Nonkosi Tshangana took to X and praised Maleka for his talent and how he kept viewers entertained: “I absolutely enjoyed this movie, fresh and just plain silly, goofy, and a light-hearted but entertaining comedy.
