Johannesburg - Mister Supranational SA has launched a search for the next Mr Supranational SA 2023 to represent the country at the prestigious Mr Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland.

Entries are open for Mr Supranational SA 2023 and will close on November 28 at midnight.

The pageant is back after a two-year Covid-19 hiatus, Mr Supranational SA is now under the new management of international pageant director and show producer Wayne Stafford and Celia Mostert from Centre Stage Productions.

South Africa has previously had two title holders of the title, Rushil Jina (2019) and Akshar Birbal (2020) who have represented the country at the international competition.

Not only did Rushil Jina place in the Top 10 on the global stage, but he was also named Mr Supranational Africa 2019.

The Mr Supranational is, recognised as one of the most prominent male pageants in the world with title holders from more than 36 countries participating in the global pageant to be held in Małopolskie, Poland.

The Supranational brand has gained much awareness and recognition in South Africa when Lalela Mswane, Miss SA 2021, walked away with the Miss Supranational 2022 title.

South Africa first competed for the title a year before when Miss SA first runner-up Thato Mosehle represented the country and was placed second runner-up at the pageant.

The ideal Mr Supraman embodies the characteristics of an aspirational, driven, confident, ambitious and inspirational South African who, at his core, has a heart for empowering and uplifting those in need around him.

“Commitment to bringing about sustainable change is something that a Supraman must have for his community and for the people of South Africa. This is something that must be evident in the man who holds this title,” commented Stafford.

From The Ground Up is a CSI initiative by the Mr Supranational Organisation where both the semi- finalists and finalists have the opportunity to give back to their communities by initiating a From the Ground Up project geared toward bringing about tangible change in the lives of those most in need.
