Harrismith - The Harrismith High Court on Friday sentenced Sedimo Selahla, 24, to life imprisonment and Neo Mokhethi, 18, to 20 years imprisonment for the murder of police Warrant Officer Tomoloane Moloi of the Phuthaditjhaba K9 Unit, Free State police said.

Moloi was shot while helping a foreign national during a business robbery in Qwa Qwa's Marakong Village in August 2014, Sergeant Mmako Mophiring said.

Provincial police commissioner Lt-Gen Simon Mpembe praised Detective Captain Daniel Moshoaduba of the Hawks for leaving no stone unturned in investigating the case.
