Ryan doubles up!
Ryan Rickelton was superb for the best part of two days and fully deserved his maiden Test double century. It was a near perfect innings with not a single chance offered and his celebration was fitting of the moment as he raised his bat with helmet stuck on the top.

Was Kyle a bit hungry?
In the penultimate over prior to the lunch, Kyle Verreynne launched into an assault on Aamer Jamal. Two short deliveries were dispatched deep into the Railway Stand followed by an exquisite straight drive down the ground.
Hometown hero
The pre-lunch attack was merely an appetiser as Verreynne moved swiftly to his fourth Test century. But this was a particularly special innings for the Western Province skipper as it was his first at his home ground before his family and friends. He celebrated accordingly by taking a customary bow in their direction.
The icing on the cake
With the Proteas top-order batting Pakistan into submission, it created the opportunity for Marco Jansen to play with a bit of freedom. It was the freedom that Jansen craved as he blasted 62 off 54 balls to push the Proteas up to a mammoth 615 all out.
Pakistan in a hot mess
The physical strain of being in the field for 141.3 overs and having lost their regular opener Saim Ayub to injury, Pakistan were all at sea in their batting innings as Kagiso Rabada struck twice and Marco Jansen once to leave the tourists in the doldrums.
